Welcome!

Glad you found us. Here's what PDX Hackerspace is all about.

A Community Workshop

We're a shared space where people who love computers, electronics, 3D printing, woodworking, craft, science and art come to meet, collaborate and make things.

All Volunteer, Member Operated

PDX Hackerspace is a 501(c)(3) non-profit run entirely by its members. There's no staff - everything here happens because someone in the community makes it happen.

Tools You Can Use

Members get access to our spaces: an electronics lab, 3D printers, a woodshop with a 60W laser cutter, a craft lab and plenty of room to work - with training provided so you can use the equipment safely and confidently.

A Place to Learn and Teach

People here teach because they love teaching and learn because they love learning. Check our calendar for classes, workshops and meetups.

Open to Everyone

You don't have to be a member to visit. We host open events every week, including a Work Party/Open House most Saturdays - drop in for a tour and say hi.

Portland Since 2014

We've been part of Portland's maker community for over a decade, supporting our members, other hackerspaces and the wider community.
